Web Design Internship (Apartment Management Company)

Trimark Properties is a large multifamily real estate company specializing in student housing in Gainesville, Florida. Trimark owns and manages two luxury student dorms, thirteen Gainesville apartment complexes, numerous historic houses and a large amount of commercial property throughout North Central Florida. The Web Design internship centers on developing a website for their apartments within walking distance to the University of Florida campus. Since college students are particularly computer savvy, Trimark considers their website to be among their most important tools in reaching their potential renters. The Trimark Properties Web Design internship is particularly helpful since interns are usually college students themselves, giving interns the unique advantage of understanding the needs of Trimark’s target audience. The internship focuses on designing and creating a website which showcases their apartments, using various multi-media tools including video, virtual tours, interactive search functions and database management. The internship will specifically work on the further development of their Gainesville Apartments website, as well as the development of a separate website for a new apartment complex which is currently being built for August 2011 move-in.

Trimark is currently accepting applications for our Spring 2010, Summer 2010 and Fall 2010 Internship Program. This is a great opportunity for students currently seeking their degrees, as well as recent graduates. Trimark offers an entry-level internship (for applicants which have not yet worked in a professional web design environment) and also an advanced internship (for students who have some form of previous web design experience). Both paid and unpaid internships are available, depending on the skill and experience level of the applicants.
