Everyone knows innovation is important. But why is it important? How is it implemented? And how does Microsoft view innovation? In this presentation, Adam Hecktman will discuss the strategic importance of innovation in tomorrow’s business. He will also cover how Microsoft views innovation, and both the challenges and the opportunities the future of the digital lifestyle and digital workstyle will bring.Bio Sketch:
Adam J. Hecktman is the Director of the Microsoft Technology Center – Chicago. The Microsoft Technology Center is a world-class facility dedicated to helping organizations maximize business value and ensure long-term success when facing their toughest business challenges and opportunities. He is also the US Alliance Member Program Manager, managing partner relationships within the Microsoft Technology Center.
Prior to this position, Adam managed the Technology Specialist program for Microsoft’s largest sales district, the Midwest District. He has been with Microsoft since 1991.
Prior to Microsoft, Adam was a consultant with Andersen Consulting for three years. While at Andersen Consulting, Adam worked with clients including those in financial services, government, and utilities.
Adam received a Bachelor of Science in commerce and business administration from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration. He regularly appears on television, print, and radio, and has authored several articles.
