A variety of ethical issues related to the availability of computers, focusing on broad social issues rather than individual professional responsibilities. Privacy, copyrights, patents, file sharing, software licenses, software reliability, trusting software, viruses, security, and risks. Brief study of the elements of traditional ethical theory, eg Utilitarianism.
